First record of the red-mouthed goby, Gobius cruentatus (Gobiidae) from the middle Black Sea coast
Abstract
Two individuals of goby species Gobius cruentatus (one male and one female) were captured by fishing line on 20 October 2017 at a depth of two meters from the middle Black Sea coast. The total lengths and weights were measured as 108.61 mm and 13.85 g for the male and 112.57 mm and 20.70 g for the female specimens. This is the first record of occurrence for G. cruentatus from the middle Black Sea region.
