Turkish Journal of Maritime and Marine Sciences is an international and scientific peer-reviewed journal published quarterly (March, June, September, December) in a year. Articles submitted for publication are evaluated by national and/or international reviewers, accept-decline decision is taken by the editorial board. The journal is an international peer-reviewed indexed by CAB Abstracts (CABI), EBSCO Host, Scientific Indexing Services (SIS), Google Scholar, CiteFactor, ResearchBib Academic Resource Index, Infobase Index, Directory of Research Journals Indexing (DRJI), International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), Biefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE), Root Indexing, JI Factor, International Innovative Journal Impact Factor (IIJIF), Journal Factor, ASCI (Asian Science Citation Index), ASOS Index, SCILIT Index, FatCat and ISSN Portal. As from 2022, our journal is indexed by ULAKBİM TR-DİZİN.

Articles submitted to the journal for publication must be prepared to the article writing format of the journal.

Information related to the article should be entered completely through the Article Metadata Entry. The most important part here is to enter the article references into the system completely. If the article references are not entered into the system, the process of assigning a number to the published article cannot be completed by the editor.

!!!For human-centered studies such as surveys, social and demographic data collection, and user experience measurement, approval certificates must be obtained from the ethics committees of the relevant universities, and authors should provide information in the ethics section of the article that the ethics committee approval certificate has been obtained. Articles of authors who do not present the ethics committee approval certificate in such studies will not be considered for evaluation. We kindly request authors to show the necessary sensitivity on this matter!!!
!!!For animal experiments, a local ethics committee permission certificate must be obtained from the relevant universities, and authors should provide information in the ethics section of the article that the local ethics committee permission certificate has been obtained. Articles of authors who do not present the local ethics committee permission certificate in such studies will not be considered for evaluation. We kindly request authors to show the necessary sensitivity on this matter!!!

The submitted manuscripts must be check by authors with "iThenticate and intihal.net" softwares. The plagiarism ratio must be below 20%. Articles submitted to the journal for publication must be prepared to the article writing format of the journal.

!!!Our journal publishes articles in both English and Turkish languages. However, we prefer the articles submitted to our journal to be in the form of Turkish-Abstracted English articles!!!
