I am a physician and public health specialist. I completed my primary and secondary education in the Kula district of Manisa in the 1980s, and my undergraduate and specialization studies at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine during the 1990s and 2000s. I currently work as a faculty member at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Medicine. Within the field of public health, my research focus areas include environmental health, geriatric health, and the history of health policies; additionally, I work on medical education at the Faculty of Medicine. For about 10 years, I have been reading extensively on the history of science and philosophy. I share my work in writing on a blog named "Düşünce Odası" (The Room of Thought) and organize seminar/discussion programs on the history of thought with various groups.

Hekim ve halk sağlığı uzmanıyım. İlk ve orta öğretimimi Manisa’nı Kula ilçesinde 1980’li yıllarda, lisans ve uzmanlık eğitimimi ise Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde 1990’lı ve 2000’li yıllarda tamamladım. Halen Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde eğitimci olarak görev yapmaktayım. Halk sağlığı ile ilgili olarak çevre sağlığı, yaşlı sağlığı, sağlık politikaları tarihi, Tıp Fakültesi’nde ise tıp eğitimi üzerinde çalıştığım konular arasındadır. Yaklaşık 10 yıldır, bilim ve felsefe tarihi ile ilgili okumalar yapıyorum. Çalışmalarımı “Düşünce Odası” isimli bir blogda yazılı olarak paylaşıyor ve farklı gruplarla düşünce tarihi ile ilgili konularda söyleşi programları yürütüyorum.

Sead Zeynel was born in 1981 in Skopje, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in
Skopje in 2009. Since 2011, he has been employed at the University Clinic for
Pulmonology and Allergy, Skopje. He completed his specialty training in internal
medicine in 2015. As a full-time doctor of the University Clinic for Pulmonology and
Allergy, he actively participates in daily clinical work, scientific research work, as well
as in fully involved in the provision of the clinical practice to students as a teaching
assistant at the Department of Internal Medicine. From 2020-2024, he served as the
Medical Director of the Institute for Lung Diseases and Tuberculosis, Skopje. He is
an active member of the Macedonian Respiratory Society (MRZ) since 2011, as well
as an active member, and an Executive Board member of the Macedonian Medical
Association (MLD) and from 2024 he was elected Secretary General of MLD. He has
also been internationally involved, as an active member and delegate of the World
Medical Association ( WMA) in the work of three General Assemblies of the World
Health Organization (WHO) (2017-2019) and the WHO Executive Board (February

2020). He has participated in numerous professional and scientific schools, such as
the school on Interstitial Lung Diseases held in Heidelberg, Germany (April 2016)
and the school on Pulmonary Hypertension and Pulmonary Vascular Diseases held
in Lausanne, Switzerland (June 2014 and June 2018), as well as many other
seminars and symposia organized by the European Respiratory Society, the
American Thoracic Society and the Turkish Thoracic Society, in all of which he is an
active member.
