Abstract

Aslı Niyazioğlu’nun Dreams and Lives in Ottoman Istanbul: A Seventeenth-Century Biographer’s Perspective başlıklı çalışması, 2020 yılının Mart ayında 17. Yüzyıl İstanbul’unda Rüyalar ve Hayatlar başlığıyla Türkçeye çevrildi. Osmanlı rüya tarihçiliğiyle ilgili katkı sağlayacak eserde, 17. yüzyılda imparatorluğun farklı bölgelerinde kadılık görevi yapmış Nev’ȋzâde Atâyȋ’nin hayatı ile Hadâ’ikü’l-Hakâ’ik fȋ Tekmileti’ş-Şakâik adlı eserinde kaleme aldığı biyografilerin muhtevası incelenmiştir.
