Abstract

Bu eser, 1-3 Ekim 1993 günlerinde, Harvard Üniversitesi'nde düzenlenen "Arap Dünyasında Su" konulu bir sempozyuma sunulan 11 bildiriyi kapsamaktadır. Sempozyum, esas itibariyle, Arap Fonu ile, Harvard Üniversitesi'nin Orta Doğu Tetkikleri Merkezi tarafından düzenlenmiştir. Kitabın başında yapılan açıklamalara göre. Arap dünyasının su sorunu ile ilgili 11 konu, düzenleme heyeti tarafından seçilen Arap ve Amerikalı uzman veya akademisyenlere incelettirilmiş ve bu konularda hazırlanan inceleme veya tebliğler, üç gün boyunca sempozyumda tartışılmıştır.
