Abstract
Makalede, Avrasya step kuşağım değişik yörelerinde ortaya çıkan, en eski İskit hayvan betimleme sanatı ve maddi kalıntıları, özellikle kuzey Pakistan'da Karakurum ve güney Sibirya'da Tuva bölgelerinde gerçekleştirilen ve yeni sonuçlara götüren araştırmaların ışığı altında ele alınmaktadır. Konu, atli göçerleri yansıtan buluntular açısından, Anadolu arkeolojisini de yakından ilgilendirmektedir. Arzan kurgan nekropollerinde, son yıllarda gerçekleştirilen, Alman-Rus kazalanı, güney Sibirya Erken İskit buluntularımın kökeni ve tarihlendirilmeleri sorununa da yeni bakış açıları getirmiştir.
