The region ofBörükçü in the South Aegean Lignite Facilities excavation area is one of the ancient village sites on the sacred way between Stratonikeia and Lagina. Excavation in this area has revealed continuous inhabitation from the Late Geometric to the Early Byzantine periods. This study will examine the burial gifts and architecture of the archaic Tomb 03BM04 excavated in Börükçü in 2003. Tomb 03BM04 contained three skeletons. The tomb was was used for three times in Archaic Period. This last burial contained mortuary offerings, including a skyphos, a trefoil-mouth oinochoe, and a lydion. The trefoil-mouth oinochoe was decorated with a lotus-bud motif on its shoulder. A common feature of the Carian artists' style is the placement of the lotus flowers faced downwards with the buds faced upwards in the ornamentation chain. The conical-base deep skyphos and lydion forms are characteristic of Lydian ceramics. The decoration styles of the skyphos and lydion are also typical of Lydian production. The style and form of the burial gifts suggest that the last burial was made between BC 590-570
