The subject of this paper is the semi-circular planned building located at the southeast edge of Lyrbe Agora. Through the instrument of the inscription placed on the great gate in south, it comes out that the building in question had been named as nektareion νεκταρειον . No other example of a nektareion has been identified by any epigraphical either archaeological data, yet the existing data give clues of the first example, may have been found in Lyrbe. Although there is not precise information for the function of the building, the idea of this nektareion-called building had been in use for ceremonies for Dionysos or drinking rites as a meeting place is getting stronger
