Abstract

Ülkemizde "SfT" kavramının ilk kez 06 Ekimi973'te 1710 sayılı Eski Eserier Kanununda tanımlanmasından sonra, 9 Temmuz İ976 tarihinde, Bergama'nın Arkeolojik SIT alanları ve sınırlan Gayrimenkul Eski Eserler ve Anrtlar Yüksek Kuru/unca İGEEAYK lescil edümiştirJ Arkeolojik SİT ifanı kararını takiben Bergama kentinin antik Pergamon kenti kalıntıları üzerine kurulmuş olması, aynı zamanda günümüze air eski bir yerleşim alanı olarak Kentsef S/7 2 . özellikleri taşıması nedeniyle. SfT alanı sınırlarının saptanması ve koruma amaçlı imar planı yapılıncaya kadar geçerli olacak yapılaşma koşullarını belirleyecek çalışmaların yapılması için GEEAYK tarafından kararlar alınmıştır*. Bu kararlara rağmen "Kentsel SfT" ve "Arkeolojik SlT"4 sınırlarının tescili 1983 yılında gerçekleştirilmiş ve 1984 te tekrar değerlendirilmişti

Abstract

After the "site" concept had first been defined on 06.11.1973, in the 1710 numbered Ancient Monuments Law, the archeofogicaf sites and their borders in Bergama were registered by Immovable Ancient Remains and Monuments High Council GEEAYK on 9.7.19763 Just after the decision about the dedaration of Archeological Site; some decisions for the studies that shall define the borders of site and the conditions for construction that shall be valid until the preparation of urban plan for conservation have been made by immovable Ancient Remains and Monuments High Council2 as Bergama city had been built upon the remains of Ancient Pergamon city and also carried the characteristics of "Urban Site " as an old settlement area of our time, in spite of these decisions, "Urban" and "Archeoiogicai Site" borders were registered in 19833 and re-assessed in 1984i . The building conditions of the transition period that shall be valid until "urban plan for conservation " of the city have been defined on 07.11.2001, 18 years after the declaration of Urban Site, with the declaration of the city as Urban Archeo/ogicaf Site by Izmir District Number 2 Cultural and Natural Heritage Conservation CounciP. According to this decision, the sites in Bergama city have been described as Urban Archeohgical Site. 1st degree Archeohgical Site, 2nd degree Archeologica! Site, and 3rd degree Archeologica! Site.
