Abstract
Türkiye Bilimler Akademisi TÛBA tarafından yürütülen Türkiye Küllür Envanteri Projesi kapsamındaki "Boyabat Sinop Kentsel Kültür Varlıkları Envanteri", 2002-2003 yıllarında gerçekleştirilen alan ve büro çalışması ile tamamlanmıştır,Boyabat kentsel mimarlık envanteri çalışmasının 2002 yılında gerçekleştirilen birinci döneminde, 1996 tarihli Boyabat Koruma İmar Planında "Kentsel SİT" alanı olarak gösterilen bölgelerde belgeleme yapılmıştır. Projenin, 25 Haziran - 7 Temmuz 2003 tarihleri arasında alan çalışması gerçekleştirilen ikinci döneminde ise Kentsel SiT alanı sınırları dışında çalışılarak 300 adet envanter formu hazırlanmıştır. Bu belgeleme çalışması sırasında 1080 siyah-beyaz, 300 renkli fotoğraf ve 580 renkli saydam çekilmiştir. Alan çalışması sırasında 22 geleneksel konutun esas yaşam katlarının ölçülü plan krokileri alınmıştır.Boyabat Kentsel SİT alanı sınırları dışındaki bölgelerde, geleneksel konut dokusunun -zaman zaman kesintilere uğrasa da- süreklilik gösterdiği görülmektedir. SİT alanı dışındaki geleneksel konutlar, SIT içindeki geleneksel konutlara kıyasla daha geç dönemde yapılmış mütevazı örneklerdir. SIT alanı sınırlan dışında bulunan geleneksel konutları yapıldıktan döneme göre, 19. yüzyıl Sonu ile 20. yüzyıl başına tarihlenen Osmanlı Devri konutları ve Cumhuriyet Devri konutları olarak sınıflandırmak mümkündür. Cumhuriyet Devri konutlarına genellikle, kent merkezinin güneydoğusunda yer alan, ızgara planlı ada ve sokak düzenine sahip kısımlarda rastlanmaktadır."Boyabat Kentsel Kültür Varlıkları Envanteri" çalışmaları, Türkiye Bilimler Akademisi - Türkiye Kültür Sektörü TÜBA-TÜKSEK kapsamındaki Türkiye Kültür Envanteri Projesinin pilot bölgeleri dışında olduğundan Boyabat Belediyesinin ve Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Rektörlüğünün mali destekleriyle gerçekleştirilmiştir.
