AS A NAME FROM AL-ASMĀ AL-HUSNĀ, “AL-AFUVV”, ITS PLACE IN THE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND A SAMPLE FOR TEACHING IT

Abstract

The study is considered with both the common meaning of the “ al-Afuvv” , one of the beatifull names of God (al-asmā al-husnā), and also, its secondary meaning as well as its value. In parallel to this consideration, the study is consisted of two dimensions. At the first dimension, the concept of Afuvv and its historical background are discussed. While dealing with the historical background of the concept “al-Afuvv”, related verses of the Koran and the sayings of the Prophet Mohammad are used as basis of the discussion, focussing on the contextual meanings of the concept. It also focuses on some concepts that are related to one another and the relationship whit other names of God in order to better define the Afuvv concept in the first dimension. At the second dimension, the use of the concept “al-Afuvv” in the process of teaching-learning towards students of basic education is exemplified through sample educational activities within a course outline

ESMA-I HÜSNA’DAN “EL-AFÜVV” İSMİNİN DİN ÖĞRETİMİNE KONU EDİLMESİ VE UYGULAMA ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın hedefi, Allah’ın güzel isimlerinden (esma-i hüsnadan) biri olan, “Afüvv” isminin sahip olduğu anlam ile bu anlamın taşıdığı değeri ve bu kavramın eğitim öğretim sürecine nasıl aktarılabileceğini uygulama örnekleriyle ortaya koymaktır. Bu çerçevede makale iki boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Birinci boyutta, din eğitimi derslerinde kavram öğretimine bir örnek olacağı düşünülen “Afüvv” kavramının tarihsel arka planı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Tarihsel arka planda, kavramın ayet ve hadis referansları ele alınmış, bu ayet ve hadislerin kullanıldıkları bağlamlarda ne anlam ifade ettikleri tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca birinci boyutta, Afüvv kavramını daha iyi tanımlamak amacıyla, ilişkili olduğu bazı kavramlar ve Allah’ın diğer isimleri ile olan ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci boyutta ise tarihsel arka planı açıklanan kavramın eğitim-öğretim ortamına aktarılması çerçevesinde ortaokul ve ortaöğretim dönemindeki öğrencilere yönelik olarak bir ders işlenişinde kullanılabilecek örnek etkinliklere yer verilmiştir
