Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the sport department university students’ service quality perceptions about the service provided by their department. Quantitative research model (general survey approach and correlational survey model) was used in the study. The population of the study was consisted of students studying in sports education departments of universities in Ege, Marmara, Karadeniz and Anadolu regions. The sample composed of randomly selected 747 students (297 female, 450 male). As a data collection tool in the study; The "Student Satisfaction Questionnaire", which consists of 14 sub-dimensions and 45 questions, was used. Reliability coefficient of the scale is (α=0.99). Pearson Correlation analysis, t-test and ANOVA tests were used to analyze the data. As a result; the students attending in the evening education found their schools insufficient in the security sub-dimension compared to the students attending in the daytime education. The quality perceptions of the students studying in the Department of Sports Management were higher than both the students studying in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Teaching and students studying in the department of Training . While the quality perceptions of the students with low academic grade point average was decreasing, the quality perception levels of 4.th and 3.rd grades were higher than 1.st and 2.nd grades.
