The journal was found in 2017. Turkish Journal of Sports Science is published two annually: in June and December. Beginning in 2026, the Turkish Journal of Sports Science will be published three times annually, with issues scheduled for release in March, July, and November. The journal is written in Turkish and English. Turkish Journal of Sports Science is an open-access interdisciplinary academic periodical publishing high quality, original research and review articles. It encourages new scientific research by sharing innovations, applications and current information in sports sciences with readers and researchers.
