Scope of the Turkish Journal of Remote Sensing Journal,
For Authors;
Articles submitted to the journal should be studies with the following characteristics.
Research studies containing original scientific findings,
Studies that convey application examples with a scientific approach,
It should be in the form of review studies that comprehensively evaluate significant developments on a particular subject.
Uploading the Article to the System;
Articles should be uploaded electronically to the system at https://dergipark.org.tr/en/journal/3138/submission/start
These articles cannot be published anywhere else and cannot be presented as a paper without the permission of the editorial board. All or part of the article cannot be used anywhere without reference. Authors in the article have to express a consensus on the order of names.
Writing rules;
You can use the sample file written in accordance with the spelling rules while writing your article.
-For authors whose native language is not Turkish, journal technical office will be supportive for the Turkish Abstract.
Files Waiting to be Sent with the Article
1-Plagiarism Report (Articles are evaluated together with the plagiarism report as of 2017 as per the decision taken). If the plagiarism report is not attached, the editorial board has the right to directly reject the article by checking whether there is plagiarism in the IThenticate software. If any manuscript is 25% plagiarized the article will be rejected and the author will be notified.
2-Copyright Transfer Form (doc)
The copyright transfer of the articles is taken by filling and signing the form presented on the journal website. Signed Copyright Transfer Form must be downloaded from here, signed, passed through the browser and uploaded to the system as PDF. Publications of authors who do not submit this form cannot be published.
3-Ethics Committee Permission (If required)
An Ethics Committee Permission document must be submitted for the publication application of articles that require ethics committee approval.

• The editor(s) is responsible for ensuring that the studies submitted to the journal are evaluated in transparently and deciding which of these works will be published.
• The editor(s) should evaluate the papers of the authors regardless of language, religion, gender, ethnicity or political views.
• Editors' decisions to accept, review, or reject an article for publication should be based solely on the importance, originality, and clarity of the article, as well as the relevance of the studies in the article to the scope of the journal.
• The editor(s) is responsible for keeping the information about the submitted papers confidential.
• The editor(s) should ensure that any paper submitted to the journal is evaluated according to the blind peer-review process.
• Editor(s) should take precautions against the problems they may encounter regarding the ethical rules.
• Editor(s) is responsible for publishing every article published in the journal in accordance with journal publication policies and international standards.
The author(s) who submit their articles to the Turkish Journal of Remote Sensing should consider the following ethical issues;
• The articles submitted to the journal must be original and in accordance with scientific research methods,
• There should not be any not contributed author or authors called ghost authorship in the study,
• The studies should be within the scope of the article,
• All necessary references related to the subject should be stated in the article.
• Information about the article can be requested from the authors. For this reason, it is beneficial for the authors to keep the raw files of the articles.
• Authors should not include the same study in more than one journal's application process. Authors in which this situation is detected will be blacklisted and resubmission will not be allowed.
• The proposals for adding or removing authors of the articles that are in the evaluation process can be accepted if think fit appropriate as a result of the evaluation by the editor or the editorial board.
• Authors are responsible for informing the editor or editorial board if they detect errors or incorrect information in their articles in the process.
• Reviewers should ensure that you can accept the manuscripts sent to you for assessment if you have the subject expertise required.
• Reviewer invitations must be answered within the required time limits. The editor or editorial board has the right to suspend the late responses' review process.
• The reviewers are obliged to share any conflict of interest, if any, with the editor or assistant editors,
• You should make sure that you have enough time for the article so that the review process can proceed more transparently,
• If you reject the invitation to review, the editorial board will consider your suggestions for alternative reviewers.
• The reviewers are obliged to keep the materials related to the manuscript confidential if they accept the invitation. Manuscript information and/or assessment data should not be shared with anyone.
• The reviewers must state their assessment clearly and understandably.
• Reviewer's assessment forms (documents to be seen by the author) should not contain personal information.
Ethics Committee PermissionAn Ethics Committee Permission document must be submitted for the publication application of articles that require ethics committee approval.
• Turkish Journal of Remote Sensing is a peer-reviewed journal published annually in June and December.
• Turkish Journal of Remote Sensing does not charge any fees for the assessment/publishing processes of the submitted manuscripts.
Turkish Journal of Remote Sensing does not charge any fee from the authors during the evaluation, preparation and publication of the articles.
