The purpose of the Turkish Journal of War Studies is to contribute to the Turkish and world academic literature in war studies, military history and the academic disciplines associated with them.

The main scope of the journal is Turkish history and geography of Turkey. However, it accepts articles related to geography and history of different countries, provided that it is original.
