Abstract
"İstatistiklerle Türkiye’de Kadın Cinayetleri 2019-2022" adlı çalışma, Türkiye'de kadın cinayetlerini istatistiksel ve bilimsel bir perspektifle incelemektedir. Beş bölümden oluşan kitap, kadın cinayetleriyle mücadelede kolluğun sorumlulukları, kadın cinayetlerinin kapsamı, Türkiye ve dünyadaki genel durum, 2019-2022 yılları arasındaki olayların analizi ve bu sorunun önlenmesine yönelik öneriler gibi konulara odaklanmıştır. Araştırma, kadın cinayetlerinin nedenlerini, mağdur ve faillerin profillerini ve cinayetlerde kullanılan yöntemleri ele almaktadır. Türkiye’deki kadın cinayeti istatistiklerinin güvenilir veri tabanlarına dayanarak sunulması, çalışmanın bilimsel değerini artırmaktadır. Kitap, kadın cinayetlerinin hukuki düzenlemelerle önlenmesine yönelik somut önerilerde bulunarak, Türk Ceza Kanunu'na "Kadın Cinayeti" suçunun eklenmesini önermektedir. Ayrıca, bu suçlarla ilgili düzenli adli sicil kayıtlarının tutulması ve nitel araştırmaların yapılması gerektiğini belirtmektedir. Çalışma, kadın cinayetleri konusundaki farkındalığı artırmak ve politikacılar ile araştırmacılara yol göstermek amacıyla önemli bir kaynak olarak öne çıkmaktadır.

Abstract
“İstatistiklerle Türkiye’de Kadın Cinayetleri 2019-2022” examines femicides in Turkey from a statistical and scientific perspective. The book, which consists of five chapters, focuses on issues such as the responsibilities of law enforcement in combating femicides, the scope of femicides, the general situation in Turkey and the world, the analysis of incidents between 2019 and 2022, and recommendations for preventing this problem. The research addresses the causes of femicides, the profiles of victims and perpetrators, and the methods used in the murders. The presentation of statistics on femicide in Turkey based on reliable databases increases the scientific value of the study. The book makes concrete proposals for the prevention of femicide through legal regulations and suggests the addition of the crime of “Femicide” to the Turkish Penal Code. It also indicates that regular judicial records should be kept and qualitative research should be conducted on these crimes. The study stands out as an essential resource to raise awareness of femicide and to guide policymakers and researchers.
