Opinions of Science Teachers About Integration of Science and Mathematics Curriculum

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate some science teachers' opinions on the integration of science and mathematics curriculum. There were six science teachers who work in six different middle school in the Sapanca town from the city of Sakarya. Semi-structured interviews prepared in accordance with expert views and the literature. These interviews have transcripted and analyzed by two independent researchers. At the and of the study, it was revealed opinions of the teachers about the integration science and mathematics curriculum. One of the most striking results is that all of the teachers who involved in this study indicate that science and mahtematics curriculum were prepared without considering related topic in accordance with other.
