ANNOUNCEMENT

ITEAC2024 Special Issue

A special issue will be published in our journal for the articles presented at the ITEAC2024 conference organised by EPDAD and hosted by Bursa Uludağ University on October 18-20, 2024. Presenters who wish to have their work considered for publication in the of Journal Uludağ University Faculty of Education are kindly requested to submit their full manuscripts to the ITEAC2024 Special Issue via the Dergipark system (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/uefad) by December 31, 2024. Submissions must adhere to the journal's application requirements. It is imperative that authors submit their work to the special issue during the application process. Please note that articles not originally submitted for the special issue will not be considered for inclusion at a later date.


Dear Authors,

As of 2024, the following changes have been made to the article submission process:
1. ATTENTION TO NEW SUBMISSIONS TO OUR JOURNAL!

Starting from 2026, articles accepted for publication in our journal will be published in both Turkish and English. Therefore, articles accepted for publication in Turkish for the relevant issue will need to be translated into English. Articles written in English do not need to be translated into Turkish, but authors may choose to do so if they wish. As of September 1, 2024, it will be assumed that researchers submitting new manuscripts to our journal have accepted this announcement. Otherwise, the submission may be rejected by the editorial board.

2. Priority will be given to full-text submissions in English.
3. New submissions in Turkish should have a structured, extended abstract of 1,500-2,000 words in English. Similarly, those in English should have a structured, extended abstract of 1,500-2,000 words in Turkish.
4. Authors should upload a similarity report with their submission. Submissions with more than 20% similarity will be returned to the author.
5. According to the 2020 TR Index criteria:
• An ethics committee approval must be obtained for research conducted in all disciplines including social sciences and for experimental studies on humans and, requiring ethical committee decision, and this approval should be stated and documented in the article.
• In studies requiring ethical committee permission, the board name, date and issue number should be included in the method section and on the first/last page of the article.
• For data collection scales, the permission of the scale owner should be obtained and declared in the article.
• Copyright regulations must be observed for the ideas and works of art used.
6. Please read the “Author Guidelines” and “Submissions” sections carefully.
