ANNOUNCEMENT
ISNITE2025 Special Issue
A special issue of our journal will be published for the papers presented at the ISNITE2025 conference held on September 3–5, 2025. Authors who wish to publish their work in the Uludağ University Journal of Faculty of Education are kindly requested to submit their full texts to the ISNITE2025 Special Issue on the Dergipark system (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/uefad) by December 5, 2025, in accordance with the journal’s submission guidelines. Please do not forget to indicate during submission that your manuscript is intended for the special issue. Articles not submitted specifically for the special issue will not be included at a later stage.
A separate announcement will be made regarding the 9th International Early Childhood Education Congress Special Issue.
Important Update Regarding Publication Timeline
Due to the high volume of submissions to our journal and the resulting increase in the number of manuscripts we are reviewing, we would like to inform our submitting authors that there may be an extension in the estimated publication timeline.
Additionally, for all new submissions made on or after October 15, 2025, we anticipate that the earliest possible publication date may be August 2026. This timeframe reflects our commitment to maintaining a rigorous and comprehensive peer review and editorial process for each article. While we are aware that this delay may affect our authors' publication plans, we would like to emphasize that our editorial team and reviewers are working diligently to process all submissions as efficiently as possible while upholding the academic standards for which our journal is known.
ATTENTION TO NEW SUBMISSIONS TO OUR JOURNAL!
1. Starting from 2026, articles accepted for publication in our journal will be published in both Turkish and English. Therefore, articles accepted for publication in Turkish for the relevant issue will need to be translated into English. Articles written in English do not need to be translated into Turkish, but authors may choose to do so if they wish. As of September 1, 2024, it will be assumed that researchers submitting new manuscripts to our journal have accepted this announcement. Otherwise, the submission may be rejected by the editorial board.
2. New submissions in Turkish should have a structured, extended abstract of 1,500-2,000 words in English. Similarly, those in English should have a structured, extended abstract of 1,500-2,000 words in Turkish.
3. Authors should upload a similarity report with their submission. Submissions with more than 20% similarity will be returned to the author.
4. According to the 2020 TR Index criteria:
• An ethics committee approval must be obtained for research conducted in all disciplines including social sciences and for experimental studies on humans and, requiring ethical committee decision, and this approval should be stated and documented in the article.
• In studies requiring ethical committee permission, the board name, date and issue number should be included in the method section and on the first/last page of the article.
• For data collection scales, the permission of the scale owner should be obtained and declared in the article.
• Copyright regulations must be observed for the ideas and works of art used.
