Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Bass’ın durumsal liderlik teorisinde yer alan
dönüşümcü, sürdürümcü ve serbestlik tanıyan liderlik stillerinin yetki devri
üzerindeki etkisi, doğrusal ve yapısal eşitlik modelleri kullanılarak öğretmen
algılarına dayalı olarak açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini 2007–
2008 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Kadıköy, Şişli ve Kâğıthane
ilçelerindeki 178 ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan 6506 ilköğretim okulu
öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem, ilçelerin sosyo-ekonomik durumu
dikkate alınarak tabakalı örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen 312 öğretmenden
oluşmuştur. Veriler iki ölçek yardımıyla elde edilmiştir. Bass (1999)
tarafından geliştirilen ve Akdoğan (2002) tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanan
Çok Faktörlü Liderlik Ölçeği beşli likert tipi, üç bileşen ve yedi alt ölçekten
oluşmaktadır. Alt ölçeklerin güvenirlik düzeyleri (alpha) 0.70 ile 0.91
arasında değişmektedir. Short ve Rinehar (1992) tarafından geliştirilen ve
araştırmacılar tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanan Okul Paydaşları
Yetkilendirme Ölçeği, beşli Likert tipinde ve altı alt ölçekten oluşmaktadır.
Ölçeğin iç tutarlılık (alpha) değeri 0.67 ile 0.87 arasında değişmektedir.
Veriler Pearson Çarpım Momentler Korelâsyon, Çoklu Doğrusal Regresyon ve Path Analizi teknikleri yardımıyla çözümlenmiştir. Birbirine bağımlı
sebepler sistemli Path diyagramı kullanılarak açıklanmıştır. Bulgular,
müdürlerin dönüşümcü liderlik stillerinin, yetki devri üzerinde 0.73
düzeyinde direkt bir etkiye sahip iken; sürdürümcü liderlik ve serbestlik
tanıyan liderlik stillerinin yetki devri düzeyine olan etkilerinin doğrudan
değil dolaylı olduğunu göstermektedir.
