Abstract

Küresel ekonomik ilişkiler ile birlikte artan uluslararası entegrasyon hareketleri, Doğrudan Yabancı Yatırımların DYY önemini daha da artırmıştır. Özellikle Gelişmekte Olan Ülkelerin GOÜ ekonomik kalkınma ve refahlarını artırmak ve finansman sorunlarını gidermek amacıyla ihtiyaç duydukları DYY’ler, gittikleri ekonomilerde birçok makro değişkeni de etkilemektedir. Bu süreç içerisinde, GOÜ’lerin kalkınmaları ve bunu sürdürebilmelerinin önündeki en büyük sorun, sermaye birikimlerinin dolayısıyla, tasarruflarının yetersiz oluşudur. Bu nedenle, özellikle söz konusu ülkelerin gelişmelerini sağlamada DYY’ler anahtar bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu makalede, Uluslararası Doğrudan Yatırımları UDY oluşturan, Doğrudan Yabancı Yatırımlar DYY ve Gayrimenkul Yatırımları içinde DYY’ler üzerinde durulacaktır

FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENTS, THEIR DETERMINANTS AND ECONOMIC EFFECTS

Abstract

International integration movements, which was increased with the global economic relations, has added more importance to the Foreign Direct Investments FDIs . The FDIs which were appealed mainly by the less developed and the developing countries for increasing their economic development and the welfare for a way to overcome their financial problems which in turn spreads into their economies and effects a lot of macro variables. Within this process, the main problem of development and continuation of development of the developing countries are the lack of capital accumulation and consequently the lack of savings. As a result of this, the FDIs are playing a key role for the development of the countries in question. International Direct Investment constitutes from Foreign Direct Investment and Real Estate Investments. In this article, we will focus on FDIs
