Discussing Globalization and Cultural Hybridization

Abstract

Globalization has led to the hybridization of culture, becoming an increasingly interesting research topic. This is a reflection of the cultural changes in modern society. Globalization allows for and also causes interaction between cultures worldwide. Consequently, different cultures interact with each other, resulting in a hybrid culture. The process of globalization has been accelerated by advancements in communication, transportation, and technology on a global scale. This has increased mutual interaction between cultures worldwide, accelerating cultural hybridization. This article will discuss the reasons and consequences of globalization and cultural hybridization, as well as their impact on cultures.
