The human development process begins from the moment the sperm falls on the mother's uterine. The baby, which develops rapidly from the point of birth, develops in cognitive, affective and moral sense in the following stages. One of the main factors affecting development is the environment. For the healthy development of the people surrounded by three types of environment it is necessary to adapt the environment to the developmental characteristics. In addition, these three types of environment are not unrelated from each other. The change in one of them means change in other types of environment. Negative changes in the environment of the individual will have negative effects on moral development as well as on all areas of development. In the first part of the research, the effects of the environmental factor on moral development were analyzed by review the psychology literature. The second part is including; the discourse analysis of the film "Darwin's Nightmare" by director Hubert Sauper, which is a thematic documentary about the impact of environmental changes on human lives. Discourse analysis has led to conclusions supporting the evidence of the theoretical framework that emphasizes the impact of the environmental factor on moral development. According to this, when the environment surrounding the person changes positively or negatively, the individual is morally affected by this change.
