İŞLETMELERDE SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR LİDERLİK ÖLÇEĞİNİN TÜRKÇE UYARLAMA GÜVENİRLİK VE GEÇERLİLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, işletme alanında geliştirilmiş olan Avery ve Bergsteiner’in (2011) sürdürülebilir liderlik ölçeğinin Türkçeye uyarlanması ve ölçeğin psikometrik özelliklerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Sürdürülebilir liderlik ölçeğinin Türkçe versiyonunun oluşturulması, Türkiye’de sürdürülebilir liderlik uygulamalarını anlamak ve ölçmek açısından önemli bir katkı sunmaktadır. Araştırma yöntemi kapsamında, özel ve kamu sektöründe çalışan bireylerden oluşan iki farklı örnekleme toplam 432 anket uygulanmıştır. Ölçek maddeleri çeviri-ters çeviri yöntemiyle Türkçeye uyarlanmış ve geçerlilik ile güvenilirlik analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma bulguları, ölçeğin üç boyutlu yapısının Türkiye örnekleminde geçerli olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Alt boyutların güvenirlik katsayıları sırasıyla temel uygulamalar için 0,944, üst düzey uygulamalar için 0,890 ve kritik performans faktörleri için 0,905 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda, madde toplam korelasyon değerleri, Cronbach alfa katsayıları ve uyum indeksleri temel alınarak ölçeğin güvenilir olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışma, sürdürülebilir liderlik alanında gerçekleştirilecek gelecekteki araştırmalara rehberlik edebilecek önemli bir katkı sağlamaktadır.

RELIABILITY AND VALIDITY STUDY OF THE TURKISH ADAPTATION OF THE SUSTAINABLE LEADERSHIP SCALE IN BUSINESSES

Abstract

The aim of this study is to adapt Avery and Bergsteiner’s (2011) sustainable leadership scale into Turkish and to evaluate its psychometric properties. Developing a Turkish version of the sustainable leadership scale will provide a significant contribution to understanding and measuring sustainable leadership practices in Turkey. As the research method, a total of 432 participants from two different samples, consisting of employees from private and public institutions, were surveyed. The original scale items were translated into Turkish using the translation-back translation method, and validity and reliability analyses were conducted. The findings of this study indicate that the three-dimensional structure of the scale is valid in the Turkish sample. The reliability coefficients for the sub-dimensions were found to be 0.944 for fundamental practices, 0.890 for advanced practices, and 0.905 for critical performance factors. Based on these findings, the scale was determined to be reliable in terms of item-total correlation values, Cronbach’s alpha coefficients, and fit indices. This study provides valuable guidance for future research in the field of sustainable leadership.
