Abstract
Müsned olarak adlandırılan hadis mecmuaları, musanniflerin isnatları Hz. Peygamber’in belirli bir Sahâbîsine kadar uzanan rivayetleri derledikleri bir türdür. Hadis âlimleri, müsned terimini, Peygamber’in sözleri ve fiillerine dair sağlam rivayetlerle ilişkili olarak muhtelif şekillerde kullanırlar fakat ben burada sadece, Peygamber’den sonraki ilk râvi konumundaki kişinin metinlerin tertibinde kilit unsur olduğu mecmualara verilen özel başlığı ele almaktayım.

Abstract
The type of hadit collection called musnad is one in which compilers brought together reports whose chains of transmission go back to a particular Companion of the Prophet. Hadit scholars use the term, musnad, in several ways, having to do with well-substantiated accounts of the Prophet's words and deeds, but here I am dealing only with the special title given to those collections in which the person of the first transmitter after the Prophet is the key element in the arrangement of the texts.
