TEACHING ANTIQUE AGE AND ANCIENT TURKISH HISTORY IN THE TEXTBOOK OF THE SOVIET UNION PERIOD

Abstract

Knowing the political history as well as its cultural elements of Russia, which was in a border with Turkey numerously from the archaic times and in a struggle against it from then carries great importance. For military and political success, there should be a good education system. A part of the education is teaching history and a part of that is the history of the relationships with the neighbor countries. Teaching of Ancient History and Ancient Turkic History which was a part of the applied History education of period of Soviet Union is going to be examined in this study. Because of the scope of this study, other periods won’t be analyzed.

SOVYETLER DÖNEMİ DERS KİTAPLARINDA ESKİÇAĞ TARİHİ VE ESKİ TÜRK TARİHİ’NİN ÖĞRETİMİ

Abstract

Tarihsel süreçte Türk devletleri ile kadim sınır komşusu olan ve ilk dönemden günümüze kadar genellikle mücadele halinde bulunulan Rusya’nın, siyasi tarihinin yanı sıra kültürel ögelerinin bilinmesi de büyük önem taşımaktadır. Zira askerî ve siyasi başarılar elde edebilmek için muhakkak iyi bir eğitim sistemi uygulanmalıdır. Eğitimin bir parçası tarih öğretimi ise, onun da en önemli kısımlarından birisi komşu ülkeler ile olan ilişkilerin öğrenilmesidir. Bu çalışmamızda Sovyetler Birliği’nde tarih eğitiminin bir parçasını teşkil eden Eskiçağ Tarihi ve Eski Türk Tarihi’nin öğretimi incelenecektir. Çalışmanın hacmi gereği diğer dönemlere girilmeyecektir.
