Abstract

Year 2022, , 81 - 95, 15.08.2022
https://doi.org/10.29065/usakead.1069202

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine to what extent resilience and life satisfaction variables predict internet addiction levels of adolescents. The research group consisted of 348 adolescents. The mean age of the research group is 16.37. “Internet Addiction Scale”, “Child and Youth Resilience Measure”, “Life Satisfaction Scale” and “Personal Information Form” were used as data collection tools. In the study, the data were analyzed with the multiple linear regression analysis (stepwise) method. As a result of the research, it was determined that the variables of resilience and life satisfaction predicted internet addiction in adolescents at a significant level.
