Abstract

Şehir ve kazalarda yaşayan insanların toplumsal, kültürel, sosyal ve ekonomik özelliklerini detaylı biçimde öğrenmenin en iyi yolu o yörelerde çıkan gazete ve dergilerin okunmasıdır. Büyük çoğunluğu yerel matbaalarda basılan gazete ve dergiler o toplumda yaşayan insanların gerçek sesleridir. Bu gazete ve dergilerde yazılanlar sayesinde yöredeki her türlü etkinlik hakkında bilgi edinmek mümkün olduğu gibi yörenin sorunları, yerel yönetimlerin aldığı kararları farklı bakış açıları içinde görmek ve değerlendirmek mümkündür. Basın-yayın sektöründe matbaanın hızlı bir gelişim göstermesi yerel gazete ve dergilerin hem nicelik hem de nitelik olarak artmasına sebep olmuştur. Bu makalede Cumhuriyet döneminde Uşak merkezde faaliyet gösteren matbaalar ve matbaa alanındaki teknolojik gelişmeler ve yine bu matbaalarda basılan gazete ve dergilerin yayın hayatlarına başlamaları ve tarihsel gelişim süreçleri yıllar içerisinde değerlendirilecektir.

The Historical Development Process Of Printing, Newspaper And Magazines In Uşak, In The Republican Era

Abstract

The best way to learn communal, cultural, social and economic characteristics of the people who live in cities or country sides is reading newspapers or magazines published in this region. The newspapers and magazines the majority of which are published in the local printing houses are the real voice of the people living in that society. Thanks to the writings in newspapers and magazines, it is possible not only to get information about all kinds of events in that region but also to see and evaluate the local issues and the decisions made by the local authorities in their different perspectives. Rapid developments of printing presses and in the publishing industry have provided an increase in local newspapers and magazines both quantitatively and qualitatively. In this article, the printing houses operating in the center of Uşak during the Republican Era and the technological developments in the printing houses, the beginnings of the broadcast life of these newspapers and magazines printed in this houses and their historical development processes will be evaluated over the years.
