A New Language Layer Formed By Mass: The Mass Media’s Jargon Used By Preservice Teachers

Abstract

Language, is the main tool for public communication. In every age, whether there are different forms of communication all kinds of communication have always been elements in the origin of the language. Communication elements, whether they are verbal or, non-verbal have always be able to find a channel to convey the massege. This channel sometimes had been a like dove sometimes a like figure drawn to the stone sometimes a letter. When mankind enters in different periods, communication had varied and because of this variation various tools started to be used. One of the inventions which caused great change in communication was the telephone, then the General Network / internet. This communication tools had composed of their own jargon in the length of time. Words and consept which are used with the effect of material of internet and telepone by the university students are the materials of this study. Date of this study was gathered by interview technique. According to the data that are gathered, it has been determined that the students constructed their own communication language.

Kitle İletişim Araçlarının Oluşturduğu Yeni Bir Dil Katmanı: Öğretmen Adaylarının Kullandığı Kitle İletişim Jargonu

Abstract

Dil, ortak iletişimi sağlayan temel bir araçtır. Bu aracın her çağda farklı da olsa kendine özgü bir iletişim kanalını oluşturduğu görülmektedir. İletişim unsurları, ister sözsüz ister sözlü olsun karşıda bulunan kişiye mesajı iletmek için her zaman bir yol bulmayı başarmıştır. Bu yol kimi zaman bir güvercin kimi zaman taşlara çizilmiş bir şekil kimi zaman da bir mektup olmuştur. İnsanoğlu, farklı dönemlere girdikçe iletişim de çeşitlenmiş ve bu çeşitlilikten dolayı farklı araçlar kullanmaya başlamıştır. İletişimdeki büyük değişime neden olan buluşlardan biri telefon, daha sonra ise internet olmuş ve bu iletişim araçları zamanla kendi jargonlarını oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışmada, üniversite öğrencilerinin internet ve telefon gibi kitle iletişim araçlarından etkilenerek kullandıkları sözcük ve kavramlar ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri görüşme tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilere göre öğrencilerin kendilerine göre bir iletişim dilini (jargon) oluşturdukları belirlenmiştir.
