Before The Soviet Period Kirghiz Literature

Abstract

It is not true that Kirghizs didn't know writing and reading before 1917 Bolshevid revolation. We can't claim there were many Kirghizs who know reading and writing before Soviet period. But there is no acceptable reason for claiming all Kirghizs didn't reading and writing. Some texts were written in the Kirghiz language before Soviet period. Afew of these texts were published but there were no works like newspapers, books, which were published in press, and there isn't any formal document which was arranged. They didn't teach lessons in the school. Certainly; There are alot of reasons for this. Kirghizs couldn't establish a goverment for a thousand year or they didn't have a national autonomy with the management of a powerful goverment. Besides,they didn't have "cultural autonomy", they lived scattered and nomadic and they fight with each other.

SOVYET DÖNEMİNDEN ÖNCE KIRGIZ EDEBİYATI

Abstract

Kırgızların, 1917 Bolsevik devrimimden önce okuma yazma bilmedikleri doğru değildir. Sovyet döneminden önce okuma-yazma bilen Kırgızların sayı itibarıyla çok olduğuna dair bir iddiada bulunamayız. Fakat, Kırgız halkının tamamının hiç okuma-yazma bilmediğini iddia etmek için de geçerli hiçbir sebep yoktur. Sovyetler Birliği döneminden önce, Kırgız dilinde bazı metinler yazılmıstır. Bunlardan birkaçı yayımlanmıs olmakla birlikte gazete, dergi, kitap gibi matbu eser çıkarılmamıs, resmî evrak tanzim edilmemis, mekteplerde ders verilmemistir. Elbette bunun birçok sebebi bulunmaktadır. Kırgız boylarının son bin yıldan beri müstakil bir devlet kuramamıs olması veya büyük bir devletin idaresi altında millî bir otonomiye sahip olamamıs olması, hatta bir “kültürel özerkliğe” bile kavusamamıs olması, göçebe hayatını devam ettirip kendi aralarında savasarak dağınık bir hâlde yasamıs olmasıdır.
