In classical literature, many poetic and prose works have been written about Abu Bakr, Umar, Osman and Ali, who are called as “Çehâr Yâr-ı Güzîn” and who became both the friend and caliph of the Prophet. Some of these works have been detached and some have been in sections within the works. The subject of study, "Çehâr Yâr-ı Güzîn", "Yenâbîü'l-Yakîn fî İhyâ'i 'Ulûmi'd-Dîn" was written in Ottoman Turkish at the beginning of the XVII century and is one of the most important works of Imam Gazzali. It is included in the work, which is a translation of u “Ihyâ’u Ulûmi'd-Dîn”. The author made his translation in chapters in accordance with the original of Ihyâ, and after the second chapter, he wrote a separate prose-poetic "Çehâr Yâr-ı Güzîn". Here, the author, who handles each of them under separate titles, both included historical information about them and presented sections from their lives. In addition, he adorned his expression with poems where he saw fit. In study, "Yenâbî‘ü'l-Yakîn fî İhyâ'i‘ Ulûmi'd-Dîn "was briefly introduced, the information in the work about the four caliphs was analyzed and the chapter was transcribed. With this study, it is aimed to introduce "Çehâr Yâr-ı Güzîn", which is an independent section in "Yenâbî‘ü'l-Yakîn fî İhyâ'i‘ Ulûmi'd-Dîn ", which is a translation of Ihyâ, to the world of science.
