Abstract
In this study, it is aimed to examine the problems experienced by academicians who taught accounting and finance group courses in distance education during the Covid-19 epidemic period. For this purpose, a semi-structured interview was conducted with 11 academics using the interview form technique in order to determine the problems experienced by faculty members who teach in the fields of accounting and finance at Bitlis Eren University. The results were analysed in descriptive terms. According to the data obtained from the study, distance education could not be a perfect substitute for face-to-face education and the result is that face-to-face education is a more efficient and effective method of education for academics.
