Opinion polls over the last decade show that, in line with the tension in relations, support for the European Union (EU) has been constantly decreasing. Public support is necessary for Turkey, as a EU candidate country for full membership to the EU. Within the context of the accession negotiations to the EU, under Turkey’s EU Communication Strategy, the public opinion of Turkey should also be prepared for membership. In this context, it is very important to measure the support of the Turkish people to the EU.
