The aim of this study is to describe reading culture, children's books and children's literature activities carried out by application and research centers all over the world. Document analysis method was used in the research. The data sources are websites that share information about the activities of 37 application/research centers and 3 associations/communities from 21 countries. The data collected from these web pages were analyzed through descriptive coding method. As a result of this analysis the data is classified under Purpose, Education, Research, National/International Links, Promotion/Publicity categories and their subcategories. As a result of this research, it has been understood that the centers and associations can take an active role in the supporting of reading culture, researching children's books and children's literature and researchers working in this field. It has been observed that some of the centers are established by a university unit or work in cooperation with a university. Limited number of centers carry out independent studies. It has been determined that the centers carry out studies for families, teachers, researchers and writers as well as children and young people.
