GSM VE GPS TABANLI ARAÇ TAKİP VE YÖNLENDİRME SİSTEMİNİN GELİŞTİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Sunulan çalışmada GSM-GPS
(Global System for Mobile Communication-Global Positioning System) ve kamera
tabanlı bir araç takip ve yönlendirme sistemi geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen
sistem CBS (Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri) tabanlı bir uygulama olup, iki yönlü bir
iletişimle araç içerisine yerleştirilen kamera vasıtasıyla uzaktan erişimle
fotoğraf çekebilmektedir. Sistemde ayrıca araç konumu ve bilgileri geliştirilen
bir harita sunucusu üzerinden yayınlanarak araç konumuna ait temel CBS
hesaplamaları CBS programları vasıtasıyla gerçekleştirilebilmektedir. Sonuç
olarak, geliştirilen araç izleme ve yönlendirme sistemi ile araçların CBS
teknikleri ile gerçek zamanlı olarak izlenebileceği ve araç ile ilgili
suçlarının azaltılmasında hızlı ve etkili bir sistem olarak kullanılabileceği
gösterilmiştir.

DEVELOPMENT OF A GSM AND GPS BASED VEHICLE TRACKING-ROUTING SYSTEM

Abstract

The scope of this study is to develop a GSM-GPS and camera-based vehicle
tracking-routing system. The system is developed as a GIS (Geographic
Information System) based application and it takes photo by a camera that is
placed inside the vehicle remotely. Another feature of the system is safely
publishing and examining the vehicle data over a map hosting to a GIS software.
The last and most crucial aspect of the system is the easy and quick monitoring
of vehicles on the map website, which has been developed incorporating
leading-edge technologies. Consequently, developed vehicle tracking-routing
system can be considered faster and safer option for minimizing crimes and
monitoring the vehicles with GIS techniques.
