Writing Rules

The articles to be submitted for publication in the Journal of International Trade and Economics Researches (JITER) should not have been published in any publications previously and have not been submitted for evaluation. The articles should be prepared in accordance with the following rules. Articles that are not in line with these rules will not be evaluated and will be returned to the authors.

Articles that are not in line with these rules will not be evaluated and will be returned to the authors. The articles to be submitted to JITER may be in Turkish or English. The length of the article should not exceed 15 pages. Electronic copy of the manuscript should be prepared in Microsoft Word program with Arial font. Margin settings; 5cm from the top, 4cm from the bottom, 4.5cm from the right and left.

The title should be given in bold, 12 pt, bold, and centered on the page, whichever is on the top. In the case of the English version of the manuscript, a line must be left blank, in capital letters, 12 pt, bold, and centered on the page.

Author (s) in should be written as a footnote under the page with the institution and department to which it is affiliated and the e-mail address.

In JITER, blind referee system is applied. The article should be given in "abstract" of up to 100 words in English. The keywords (maximum 5, minimum 3) and the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) classification under the English abstract should be given under Turkish and English abstracts.

Titles should be numbered in the text (such as 1, 1.1, 1.1.2) and the depth should not be more than three.

All titles should be given in 12 point font and bold. The text should be written in 12 point and single line spacing. After each paragraph, 6 nk should be left blank and the paragraphs should be justified.

Transmissions made from other sources should be given in italics in quotation if they do not exceed three lines, in 10 point and italic in a separate paragraph if they pass by one inch from the right and left.

Tables and figures should be given titles and sequence numbers, titles should be placed on tables and figures (Table 1. Table name) and figures (figure 1. figure name). Tables and figures can be placed vertically (full-page tables and figures can be placed horizontally).

The equations should be left-justified on the page and the equations must be numbered in parentheses and should lie on the right side of the page.

They should be sent to the sources using the in-text paranthesis method. The order in brackets is; The surname of the author / authors (the first three words of the work in non-spelling sources and the next three spots) must be in the form of the year, page number / number of the source (eg: Lastname, date: page number).

In the text, all referenced sources, as above, should be listed in the references list in accordance with APA format, and non-referenced sources should not be listed in this list. Sources should be written in alphabetical order.

It is up to the authors to present the final form of the prints in accordance with the writing rules.

The articles are not published until they are prepared in accordance with the writing rules.
