In this section, to the author(s); Before the application, general information about the application process and the stages after the application is given:
- You can submit your article to the International Journal of Turkish Teaching Research (IJRTT) by uploading it through the system after you become a member at https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/utoad. Applications by mail are not accepted.
- All communications during the application process are made via e-mail and the website.
- It is recommended that you check the spam folder in your mailbox, in case the e-mails are seen as spam.
- Please use utoadergisi@gmail.com to contact us.
- Articles should be written in accordance with journal writing rules. It should fit the article template.
- Articles that do not comply with the spelling rules will be returned without being evaluated.
- Articles submitted to our journal must comply with publication ethics.
- When making your application, you should not include your personal information such as name and surname in the article file that you will upload to the system.
- When the article is first uploaded to the system, the names of the authors must be entered completely in the registration form filled out on the website. No author names can be added or removed from the submitted articles after the process has started.
- Submitted articles must be original. It must not have been sent or published for publication elsewhere.
- The author(s) should receive the similarity (plagiarism) report of the candidate article and upload it to the system during the application. (The study should be reviewed with one of the similarity programs such as Turnitin or iThenticate, the similarity rate for the whole article should be less than 15% and the similarity rate to a single source should be less than 3%.)
- The copyright of the published work belongs to the journal. All ethical responsibility of the published work belongs to the author(s). Authors take full responsibility for copyright infringement, plagiarism or other violations.
- Authors should take care to follow all guidelines. Articles that do not comply with the specified guidelines will be returned.
- The language of the manuscript should be Turkish or English. An English abstract for Turkish articles and a Turkish summary (750-1000 words) should be prepared for English articles.
- Bibliography should be arranged in accordance with the procedures and principles in the 7th edition of the APA Citation Rules.
- It should be checked whether the in-text references for each reference in the bibliography are given in accordance with the procedures and principles.
- The author(s) should not wait for the article to be published in the first issue to be published after the date it is uploaded to the journal. The refereeing process of the articles varies according to the field density.
- No royalties are paid for published articles.
- It is recommended that the works to be submitted should not exceed 20 pages (10000 words).
- In studies that require permission from the Ethics Committee, information about the permission (name of the committee, date and number) should be included in the method section and also on the first/last page of the article.
- In case reports, information about signing the informed consent/consent form should be included in the article.
- Ethics committee approval should be obtained separately for studies carried out with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using survey, interview, focus group work, observation, experiment, and interview techniques, and which require an ethics committee decision, this approval should be stated and documented in the article. In addition, obtaining and specifying permission from the owners for the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others; It should be stated that copyright regulations are complied with for the intellectual and artistic works used.
- Retrospective ethics committee approval is not required for articles that were published before 2020, produced from postgraduate/doctoral studies (must be specified in the article), submitted an application for publication to the journal in the previous year, and accepted but not yet published.
- Researchers who are not members of the university can apply to the Ethics Committees in their regions for the Ethics Committee Report.
