Community – Oriented, Community – Based Medical Education

Abstract

Community – based education is an approach to medical education in which students, already in the early phases of their training, are confronted with the health problems of the communities they are supposed to serve in the future. It is assumed that through early and extensive contacts with the community, students may become better prepared to deal with those problems in the future. Community – oriented education is an approach that takes into account the health needs of the community concerned.

Topluma Yönelik – Topluma Dayalı Tıp Eğitimi

Abstract

Topluma dayalı eğitim, tıp fakültesi öğrencilerinin, eğitimlerinin erken dönemlerinden başlayarak ilerde hizmet edecekleri toplumun sorunlarıyla karşılaşmalarını amaçlayan bir yaklaşımdır. Erken dönemde ve yoğun olarak bu sorunlarla karşılaştıkları için, gelecekte sorunlarla daha rahat başa çıkabilecekleri düşünülmektedir. Topluma yönelik eğitim ise, içinde yaşanılan toplumun sağlık gereksinimlerini göz önüne alan bir yaklaşımdır.
