The Concept of Patient-Physician Relationship

Abstract

Primer basis of the medical practices is patient-physician relationship and it is required reinforcement, respect and confidence. This complex and dynamic relation is affected by many factors as culture, community, technology, economy, psychology and ethics. The physician is active in an environment that different kinds of relation models are effective. This has increased the responsibilities of the physician in building patient-physician relationship. The kinds of relationships could be different from patient to patient. However, while determining this relationship model, the physician must behave according to the patient beneficence. In this review, the concept of patient-physician relationship is emphasized and relation models are evaluated.

Hasta - Hekim İlişkisi Kavramı

Abstract

Tıbbi uygulamaların temel dayanağı hasta-hekim ilişkisi olup bu ilişki karşılıklı destek, saygı ve güven gerektirir. Bu karmaşık, dinamik ilişki kültürel, toplumsal, ekonomik, teknolojik, psikolojik ve etik birçok etmen tarafından etkilenir. Hekim, farklı ilişki türlerinin etkili olduğu bir ortamda etkinlik göstermektedir. Bu da hasta-hekim ilişkisinin oluşturulmasında hekimin üzerine düşen sorumlulukları artırmaktadır. Her hastayla kurulacak ilişkinin türü farklı olabilir. Ancak bu ilişki türü belirlenirken hekim öncelikle hastanın yararına dayanarak hareket etmelidir. Bu derlemede, hasta-hekim ilişkisi kavramı üzerinde durulmakta ve ilişki türleri değerlendirilmektedir.
