Abstract
RNA interference (RNAi), is a powerful vital tool for post-transcriptional gene silencing in mammalian cells. Small interfering RNA, or siRNA, includes the coding sequence which is complemantery to the target gene. The potential therapeutic value of RNAi has been demostrated on a wide variety of in vitro and in vivo studies. On the other hand gene silencing, has been shown in viral, neurodegenerative, inflammatory and outoimmune diseases
Abstract
RNA interferans (RNA girişimi=RNAi), memeli hücrelerinde transkripsiyon sonrası gen sessizleştirilmesi için güçlü bir vital alettir. Küçük interfering RNA veya siRNAs, hedef gene komplemanter bir kodlayıcı dizi taşır. RNA interferansın tedavi edici potansiyel değeri çok sayıda in-vitro çalışmalarda ve in vivo denemelerde gösterilmiştir. Diğer yandan viral, nörodejeneratif, inflamator ve otoümmin hastalıklarda gen sessizleştirilmesi gösterilmiştir.
