Evaluation of Restless Legs Syndrome after Covid-19 Infection

Year 2023, Volume: 49 Issue: 2, 189 - 192, 08.09.2023

Abstract

Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is the most common sleep-related movement disorder. RLS is a sensorimotor disease with important sleep consequences that impairs quality of life and occurs especially during rest. It is known that RLS symptoms may occur or worsen secondary to systemic inflammation. Covid 19 infection is also a condition that can lead to a systemic inflammatory response. There are many studies on the relationship of Covid-19 infection with sleep disorders. However, studies on the comorbidity of RLS and covid-19 are limited and it is aimed to contribute to the literature with this research.

Covid-19 Enfeksiyonu Sonrası Huzursuz Bacaklar Sendromunun Araştırılması

Year 2023, Volume: 49 Issue: 2, 189 - 192, 08.09.2023
