Analyzing  Effects of Noise Level by a Fuzzy Logic Based System

Abstract

In this paper, an attempt has been made to determine the noise levels caused by highway passing through the city in the urbanization areas, and probability of Uncomfortablenessby fuzzy logic system. For this reason, the noise values measured during day, evening and night at 14 different zones of Izmit region were applied to the fuzzy logic system individually to determine the fuzzy values. The distress levels on humans were tried to predict as a function of different noise levels, ages and durations of their occurrence for each zone. Finally we have determined strong relationships among the noise levels, ages and noise durations, and the applicability of the fuzzy logic system in these modeling techniques successfully.
