Abstract
The obituaries were written following the death of İbrahim Ateş and Sadi Bayram, who both held the position of department head at the General Directorate of Foundations (Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü). Ateş and Bayram were both researchers and authors in the field of waqfs. Their obituaries discuss their contributions to waqfs and their services at the General Directorate of Foundations. Supported by visual images and documents, the obituaries include their work at our directorate, their articles, published works, and bibliographies.

Abstract
Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğünde daire başkanlığı yapmış, aynı zamanda vakıf konusunda araştırmaları ve kitapları bulunan İbrahim Ateş ile Sadi Bayram’ın vefatları üzerine kaleme alınmış olan bu vefeyat yazılarında her ikisinin vakıf boyutu ve Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğündeki hizmetleri ele alınmıştır. Resim ve belgelerle desteklenen yazıda Genel müdürlüğümüzdeki çalışmaları ile makaleleri, yayınlamış oldukları eserleri ve bibliyograflarına yer verilmiştir.

The articles sent to the Journal of Waqfs with a request for publication are subject to preliminary examination by the Editorial Board and at least two academicians who are experts in their fields are sent for review. The copyright of the articles accepted to be published in the Journal of Waqfs with the referee reports and the decision of the Editorial Board is deemed to have been transferred to the General Directorate of Foundations, and a royalty fee is paid to the published articles in accordance with the relevant legislation.
