Sağlık Personelinde Nazal Staphylococcus aureus Taşıyıcılığı ve Antimikrobiyal Ajanlara Duyarlığın Araştırılması

Abstract

Çalışmada
sağlık personelinde nazal Staphylococcus aureus taşıyıcılık oranının ve izole
edilen S. aureus suşlarının antimikrobiyal ajanlara duyarlılıklarının
araştırılması amaçlanmıştır.

Bu
amaçla 33 doktor, 27 hemşire, 21 hastabakıcı ve 19 sağlık teknisyeni olmak
üzere toplam 100 sağlık personelinden eküvyonla burun sürüntüsü örnekleri
alınarak kültürleri yapılmış ve S. aureus olarak identifiye edilen suşların 13
antimikrobiyal ajana (ampisilin, eritromisin, gentamisin, kloramfenikol,
klindamisin, oksasilin, rifampisin, seftazidim, seftizoksim, seftriakson,
sefotaksim, tetrasiklin ve vankomisin) duyarlığı disk difüzyon yöntemi ile
araştırılmıştır.

Sağlık
personelinde nazal S. aureus taşıyıcılık oranı % 38 olarak saptanmış ve bu
suşların % 21. linin oksasiline dirençli S. aureus (ORSA) olduğu tesbit edilmiş
olup vankomisine dirençli suşa rastlanmamıştır. Ayrıca izole edilen S. aureus
suşlarına yapılan antimikrobiyal hassasiyet testinde; gentamisine % 94.7,
kloramfenikole%92.1, eritromisin ve klindamisine % 89.5, seftriaksona% 86.8,
sefotaksim verifampisine °/o 78.9, seftazidime % 76.3, tetrasikline % 73.7,
seftizoksime % 71.0, ampisilline ise % 15.8 oranında duyarlık saptanmıştır.

Staphylococcus aureus Carriage in Hospital Staff and Investigation of Susceptibility to Antimicrobial Agents

Abstract

In this study, it ıvas aimed to the research of
nasal S. aureus carriage rate in hospital staff and susceptibility to
antimicrobial agents of S. aureus strains isolated.

Therefore, 33 doctors, 27 nurses, 21 servants
and 19 technicians, totally 100 hospital staff, ıvere taken a nasal smear
specimens by cotton swab and ıvere cultured. Identified S. aureus strains
ıvere researched to susceptibility 13 antimicrobial agents (ampicillin,
erythromycin, gentamicin, chloramphenicol, elindamyein, oxacillin, rifampin,
ceftazidime, ceftizoxime, ceftriaxone, cefotaxime, tetracycline and vancomycin)
by disc diffusion method.

The rate of nasal S. aureus carriage at hospital
staff ıvas 38 %, and these strains ıvere resistant to oxacillin 21.1 %. It ıvas
not found resistant strains to vancomycin. Susceptibility to antimicrobial
agents to isolated S. aureus strains as folloıvs; gentamicin 94.7 %, chloramphenicol
92.1 %, erythromycin and elindamyein 89.5 °/o, ceftriaxone86.8%, cefotaxime and rifampin 78.9°/o, ceftazidime 76.3%, tetracycline 73.7 %, ceftizoxime 71.0%,
and ampicillin 15.8 %.
