Köpeklerde Metritis ve Pyometritis

Abstract

Bu çalışmada klinik ve bakteriyolojik muayene
yöntemleriyle, köpeklereendometritis ueya pyometra teşhisi konduktan sonra,
etkili antibiyotikler vePGF2 alfa ile sağıtım uygulanarak operasyon yapmadan
tedavileri amaçlandı.

Çalışmada anamnez, vaginal spekulum muayenesi, varsa akıntının
karakteri, abdominal palpasyon, abdominal radyografi ve diğer klinik bulgulara
dayanarak 15 adet köpeğe metritis veya pyometra teşhisi kondu ve bunlardan
vaginal sıvab alınarak etken izolasyonuna gidildi. İzole edilen mikroorganizmalar
yaygın olarak vaginada bulunan ve endometritise yol açan E.coli, Staphylococ
spp., Streptococ spp., Klebsiella spp., Corynebacterium spp. ve Enterobacter
spp. idi.

Endometritis veya pyometra teşhisi konan ve etken izolasyonu
yapılan hayvanlara, uygun antibiyotikler 9 gün, PGF2 alfa 5 gün süreyle kombine
olarak uygulandı. 15 köpekten sadece 2 tanesinde PGF2 alfa’nm yan etkileri olan
kusma, hipersalivasyon, huzursuzluk ve defekasyon gözlendi.

Tedaviden sonraki östrusta hayvanlar çiftleştirildi. Çiftleşmeden
sonraki 40’mcı günde abdominal radyografi ile gebelikler saptandı. Tedavi gören
15 adet köpekten 10 tanesi gebe kaldı (% 66.7).
