Ağrı, doku yıkımlamasına ilişkin istenmeyen
uyarımlar olarak tanımlanır. Yeterince tanınamamakta ve yönlendirilememektedir.
Ağrı arzu edilmeyen nöro-endokrinal değişimlerle aşırı morbidite ve mortaliteye
neden olduğundan, önlenmeli veya sağaltılmalıdır.

Bu makalede, köpek ve kedilerde ağrı oluşum
mekanizması ve analjezi yolları ayıklanmaktadır.

Pain is defined as unpleasanr sensory which caused tissue damage, it is underdiagnosed and inadequately managed. Also, it should be prevented be
prevented or treated, as it brings about undesirable neuro- endocrine changes
which may contribute to overall morbidity and mortality. In this review, it is
mentioned the basic mechanism of pain and methods of analgesia in the dog and cat
