Permanent Teeth Treatments in Pediatric Dentistry (Pedodontics) During Pandemic Period

Year 2021, Volume: 14 Issue: 2, 243 - 248, 30.08.2021

Abstract

Emergency intervention is very important in dentistry, which is a very high risk profession in terms of exposure to the virus during the COVID-19 epidemic. In this case, the physician should complete the treatment by protecting herself and her patient at the maximum level, especially in applications that generate aerosol. In the pediatric dentistry clinics, pain caused by caries and trauma are common in the permanent teeth and often require aerosol-releasing dental procedures. Hovewer, Atraumatic Restorative Treatments emerge as an effective option to minimize the spread of viruses during the pandemic period of dental treatments, which are closely related to our health.

Pandemi Döneminde Çocuk Diş Hekimliğinde (Pedodonti) Daimi Diş Tedavileri

Year 2021, Volume: 14 Issue: 2, 243 - 248, 30.08.2021
https://doi.org/10.52976/vansaglik.806850
