In
this work, bacterial agents and anitibotic susceptibility patterns isolated
from samples belonging to cattle, sheep, goats, avian species, fish, cat, dog
and alternative species (deer, ibex etc. ) sent to the laboratory from
different provinces of Aegean region for diagnostic purposes between 2013 and
2014 are reported. Various Gram positive and negative bacteria were isolated
and florfenicol was determined to be the most effective antibiotic for
bacterial infections in many animal species. Bacterial isolates were found to
be least susceptible to oxytetracycline and sulfamethoxazole+trimethoprim.
