The Transformational and Transactional Leadership Styles of Business Managers Who are Undergoing Change

Abstract

In today's world, the world economy is much more dependent on networking and has become globalized. This kind of economy requires a high level of competitiveness. Under these conditions, leadership is extremely important for companies. In the global economy, transformational leadership is considered to be more appropriate to a modern philosophy of management. In this research the preferred transformational and transactional leadership styles of high level and mid-level managers were investigated.

Abstract

Günümüz dünyasında dünya ekonomisi daha fazla işbirliğine dayalı ve küresel hale gelmiştir. Bu türdeki ekonomi yüksek rekabeti gerektirmektedir. Bu durumda işletmelerdeki liderlik çok önemlidir. Küresel ekonomide dönüşümcü liderlik, modern yönetim felsefesine daha uygun gibi görünmektedir. Bu araştırmada, tepe ve orta kademe yöneticilerinin dönüşümcü ve etkileşimci liderlik tarzını tercih ettikleri araştırılmıştır.
