Muhabbet kuşunda kursakta Aspergillus fumigatus olgusu

Abstract

Bu olguda Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi İç Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı’na getirilen 5 yaşında dişi bir muhabbet kuşunda iştahsızlık, zayıflama, tüylerde kabarma, durgunluk gibi klinik bulgular eşliğinde radyografide kursakta dilatasyon ve sıvı birikimi saptandı. Biriken sıvıdan beslenme tüpü vasıtasıyla örnek alındı ve mikrobiyolojik yönden incelenerek Aspergillus fumigatus izole ve identifiye edildi. Muhabbet kuşuna Aspergillozis teşhisi konarak itrakonazol ile 5 mg/kg/gün dozda oral yolla tedaviye başlandı. Bu çalışmada ülkemizde ilk kez bir muhabbet kuşundan kursak içeriğinin alınmasında beslenme tüpü kullanıldı

A case of aspergillosis in budgerigar crop

Abstract

In this study, a 5 year old female budgerigar that was brought to Veterinary Faculty of Ankara, Department of İnternal Medicine was examined. This budgerigar showed clinical signs as anorexia, weight loss, feathers puff and recession. In the radiographic examination, dilatation and fluid accumulation were detected in the crop. The crob content was taken by a feeding tube for microbiological examination and Aspergillus fumigatus was isolated and identified. After diagnosis of Aspergillosis, a budgerigar was started to treat with a dose of 5 mg/kg/day ıtraconasole by orally. This is the first time to use feeding tube for taking crob content of a budgerigar in our country
